The Tamworth Swans have ended Gunnedah’s undefeated run in the Tamworth AFL competition.
Gunnedah had a one-point lead at the first break, but the Swans restricted the Dogs to just one goal a quarter in the final three stanzas.
Tamworth’s Lachlan Rowling was named man of the match.
Inverell posted its first win for the season with a 17-point victory over the Nomads – Chris Whitton top scoring for the Saints with three goals.
And, the Kangaroos bounced back from last weekend’s loss with a win over the Cats.
