Member for Northern Tablelands, Richard Torbay, has called on the State Government to extend the allocation of logs from Forests New South Wales to the Glen Innes Correction Centre.
The gaol claims it needs an extra 10,000 green metric tonnes to keep its sawmill viable and ensure inmates receive adequate job training.
