GREAT REWARD FOR CHARLESTOWN GOLF PRO’S

The grass is certainly greener for the sport at Charlestown, thanks to a husband and wife duo.
Ryan and Janelle Smith were recently named National Club Professionals of the Year.
“We’ve been at the club six years now at Charlestown, it’s a great club, we’ve done a lot of work with junior golf and just in general and it’s nice to be recognised.”
The pair has already helped develop some of the Hunter’s best young players, and there’s plenty more on the way.
“Great coaching young kids and seeing them progress and do well, as much excitement as me hitting a good shot. I’m a lot more focused on that these days.”
