Tamworth AFL President, Darrell Benfield, has stepped down from the top job, citing medical reasons for his decision
Following an executive meeting this week, Vice President Adrian Walsh will take over the role.
Mr Benfield says Mr Walsh is an Aussie rules stalwart, having coached the New England Nomads – he also in the club’s committee.
