The search for a Glen Innes farmer, missing for more than a week, has been called off.
89-year-old George Ross’s car was found last Friday at Wards Mistake, north east of Guyra.
A large search involving air and ground teams has been unsuccessful.
Mr Ross and his 84-year-old wife were driving on their Pinkett Road property 10 days ago, when their vehicle became bogged.
He left the car to walk 1.5 kilometres home, and had been planning to return with another vehicle.
