Good news for Hunter homeowners, with land values increasing across most of the region.
The state’s Valuer General has released data, revealing the price of residential land is up by 14.6 per cent.
Newcastle city’s construction boom, and a growing demand for residential and rural residential development, has seen commercial land values rise by 10.5 per cent.
Maitland had the largest increase of industrial land values, due to better times in the mining sector.
