LEAGUE PLAYERS HIT TAMWORTH
Junior rugby league players have given up some of their Easter school holidays, to take part in a training camp at Tamworth’s Farrer High.
The CRL Greater Northern Development Camp attracted 50 youngsters from across the north west, the Hunter and north coast.
Development officer, Jamie Mcormack said you’ll find most players here played some the game of rugby league so we can advance the skills a bit at the camp. A lot of them come here to advance their skills and go back better players for their club.
Numbers were down for this year’s camp, however the CRL says junior registrations are up 10 per cent across the region.
