UNE STUDENTS WIN AGRIBUSINESS COMPETITION IN ARGENTINA

A group of agribusiness students from the University of New England have come home with a win after the 2018 Student Case Competition in Argentina.
Mixing farming with business, it challenged students to think about solutions to some of the issues faced in the industry.
It’s the fifth year UNE has taken part, with this year’s efforts no small feat.
“Our intermediate team, that is a team of postgraduates, they came first in that section, so we won that section, and then at the undergraduate level our teams came second and third, so quite a successful trip in terms of the competition,” said Agribusiness Professor Derek Baker.
