Lennox Head surfer Tyler Wright is off to a great start, winning her round one heat at the world pro junior titles at North Narrabeen.
The 16-year-old comfortably defeated Aussie Ellie-Jean Coffey and Brazil’s Diana Cristina to advance to round three.
Wright currently leads the championship ratings and is favourite to secure the title.
