A woman aged in her 40s has been arrested at Minnie Water near Grafton, following an armed standoff and pursuit by police.
Police allege the woman had a weapon when she confronted them, before fleeing in a car containing four children.
She was arrested along with a 16-year-old boy a short time later.
The three other children were located safe at Sandon.
The incident is believed to be related to a custody dispute.
