Light afternoon rain failed to put a damper on the first official race day at Tuncurry Racetrack.
The marquee race was the inaugural Tuncurry-Forster Gold Cup over 2100 metres, which was taken out by Ace Arena, with Danny Peisley on board.
Wauchope trained Wannabe was second, with Dunraven rounding out the trifecta.
