Former Gunnedah BMX rider, Billy Jolliffe, has moved into third place in the national series, following an impressive ride at the U-C-I Oceanic Round in Canberra over the weekend.
Jolliffe started strong and led the elite men’s race up until the third leg.
He eventually finished behind 19-year-old Adelaide rider, Matthew Willoughby, and Beijing Olympian, Luke Madill.
Tamworth rider, Matthew Shone, claimed silver in the under 15s.
The event saw points awarded in the U-C-I Oceanic and national series.
