New England Rugby Union Clubs are hoping to boost the zone’s junior players,
by sending two teams to the New South Wales Country Junior Championships.
Players hoping for representative honours took to the park over the weekend for selection trials.
The New England teams will play trial matches against Central North and Far North Coast sides in March to help prepare for the championships, which will be held in Moree in May.
