The Newcastle Knights have issued Wes Naiqama his sternest and last warning – that he simply can’t afford another misdemeanor.
Fronting a club disciplinary meeting today, Naiqama admitted his role in a plastic cup-throwing incident at a Newcastle hotel almost two weeks ago, where a female patron was allegedly injured.
Police investigated and cleared Naiqama, but the club has fined him an undisclosed sum, along with giving a frank assessment of where he now stands.
