Authorities are keeping a close eye on fires burning across the New England and north west.
90 hectares of bushland has been burnt out along Thunderbolts Way near Uralla.
That fire is now under control.
Crews are also monitoring an outbreak near Warialda, while a grass fire has been contained at Ashford near Inverell.
Meanwhile, a fire near Tamworth this afternoon sparked another urgent response.
