MONSTER TRUCKS ROAR INTO NEWCASTLE

It’s being billed as the biggest show to ever hit the Newcastle Showground.

And with five monster trucks, a couple of motor-cross stunt bike riders, a demolition derby and $50,000 worth of fireworks, that claim might not be too far off the mark.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK .STANDING WITH TWO KIDS ON ARMS AND SHOULDERS WHILE MY WIFE HAS ONE ON HER SHOULDERS WITH AS GOOD OF A VEIW IF I WAS IN COLES CARPARK WARNERS BAY LOOKING BACK AT THE NEWCASTLE SHOW GROUND. THE ORGANISERS SHOULD OF ONLY HAD 20% LESS TICKET SALES BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE LEAVING WITH BROKEN HEARTED KIDS BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT SEE THE SHOW!

  2. Thats not the organisers fault, thats the fault of lazy security personnel who dont get other people in front to sit down so others can see. It happens everywhere, and I personally get sick and tired of it too, I often flag down security guys to clear people in front of me, some just go “whatever”, some help out.

  3. We have just come home from the Monster Trucks in Albany in Western Australia and I have never ever felt so ripped off with fraud in all my life. That was disgusting and NEVER would I go again to such a rip off thing.. The price was shocking for a little bit of a truck going over a couple of jumps and some guy waffling over the microphone and telling people to shout louder… There was about 20 minutes break and about a quarter of people had walked out by the time it was finished.. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that sort of called show..

  4. We went in 2007 & it was so disorganised that we vowed never to go again. Many of the vehicles weren’t running properly or even at all, they were taking 30 to 40 minute breaks between “sets” in order to get their heaps of cr@p working, the ticket price was too high in light of the shemozzle inside & there were far too many drunken idiots who were still being served by the bar in spite of already being too drunk to walk in a straight line (so much for RSA laws).

It does not surprise me that there are no positive reviews to be found except on their own official website & I suspect those are either from employees or were paid for!!!!!

  5. I have NEVER been so disappointed about an event held in Newcastle but this has won gold.
NEWCASTLE MONSTER TRUCKS TOUR OF DESTRUCTION FEB 6 ,2010…..the organisers really need to pull their finger out and actually have a look how they are running the show….False advertisment is their main problem , there was no smash up derby, no mx riders backflipping and there definatley wasnt $50,000 worth of fireworks what a load of sxxt. The organisers should be ashamed of them selves…. and not hold another show until they can live up to what they say and advertise…$40 an adult and $25 for a 3 year old you have got to be kidding me…i have been sucked in again just like the last time……..

  6. What a waste of time and money on Saturday night. The only reason me and 3 mates went was to see the 2 Demo Derbies, but there wasnt even one…and no prior notice (at the gate or signs etc). The amount of people that stood at the fence and left the people in the grand stand not having a good view. Parents in the front row at the fence with kids on there shoulders, great view for our $160.

Never again, and i would tell everyone, its a waste of money…definiately not worth it!!!!!!!

  7. my autistic child went with his dad 2 c the monster trucks in newcastle. He was only 5 and absolutely loved it and he has a problem with loud noises. I am in the process of finding out when the next time they will be coming back to newcastle, and we will be taking him again. They had no problems with seeing the whole experience
