COUNCILS CALL ON RESIDENTS TO GO SLOW ON THE H2O

Central Coast householders are being reminded to watch their water use, with consumption exceeding the level-three restrictions for the past month.

The mayors of Gosford and Wyong say it’s due in part to the thousands of tourists who visit the region over summer.

But with total dam storage sitting at just over 31 per cent, they’re urging residents to be more waterwise.

Under level-three restrictions only buckets of water can be used on gardens or to top up pools and hoses must have trigger nozzles to wash cars and boats.

  1. Hi,

I noticed the on screen spelling on 22/1/09 of HOSE was spelled HOZE.

I hope you will take more care in the future with the correct use of the English language.

    Regards Larry
