A family of four has escaped an early-morning house fire at Repton.
Fire fighters say a 40-year-old woman and her three young children owe their lives to a smoke alarm.
The blaze, which destroyed a Hunter Street house, tested the capabilites of the Urunga Fire Station, which is currently understaffed. [display_podcast]
