TOWN TERRORISED, MANHUNT FOR THE STATE’S MOST WANTED

New South Wales’s most wanted man, accused murder Malcolm Naden, has residents in the bush township of Bellbrook living in fear.

The isolated Mid North Coast community has called for greater police resources to capture the 30-year-old, who is believed to be hiding out in rugged bushland, west of Kempsey.

A skilled bushman, Naden is alleged to have murdered two of his cousins in Dubbo in 2005.

NSW Police Minister Tony Kelly today dismissed claims that not enough was being done to end the three-year manhunt.

He said a team of undercover detectives were tracking the fugitive, who up until now has evaded several air and ground operations.
