A proposal for the establishment of a nudist beach at Valla seems set to be rejected by the Nambucca Shire Council.
A local group put forward the request for a clothes-optional area 300 metres south of Deep Creek.
However a survey of locals, community organisations and businesses overwhelmingly opposed the proposal.
Councillors and the police have also expressed opposition to the proposal, which will be considered at a council meeting tonight.
