For the first time, Tamworth has taken out the under-14s New South Wales junior cricket carnival.
Up against Hastings in this afternoon’s final, Sam Liles was best with the bat for the hosts scoring 42.
In reply, the North Coast side went close to the 140-run target but Tamworth’s bowlers made sure the title was theirs.
