Armidale’s embattled YCW leagues club has closed it doors.
The club was put into voluntary administration three years ago with reports it was $600,000 in the red.
The Armidale School has purchased the facility as well as the playing fields, with contracts now exchanged.
TAS will use the club as a trade and technology training centre.
Cricket and football competitions currently played on the field will continue.
