Tamworth’s $30-million AELEC Centre is quickly establishing itself as the nation’s premier Equine Showground.
More than 30,000 people and 6,000 horses have visited the centre over the past three months, and that number is expected to double by the end of January.
The centre will host several big events during Country Music Week, including the National camp draft and rodeo finals.
The New South Wales Dressage Championships, Cutting Horse Futurity, Miniature Horse Titles and Paint Horse Championships will all call AELEC home in 2009.
And, the action is set to continue in 2010 with four months already booked out.
