TAMWORTH CYCLE CLUB GRANTED $10,000 FOR SEPTEMBER FESTIVAL

A win for cycling in the region today with the New South Wales Government handing over $10,000 to the Tamworth Cycling Club.

The grant will fund the club’s first Festival of Cycling, which was launched three months ago, with organisers hoping the event develops into an annual drawcard.

The event is open to all cyclists, with local tourism also set to benefit.

The competition will be held later this year in September.
