Star Coffs Harbour racehorse Takeover Target is a step closer to running in New Zealand’s premier 1200 metre sprint.
Trainer Joe Janiak is chasing a start for his champion galloper in the Telegraph Handicap on the 17th of January.
His bid to race was boosted this week with New Zealand authorities relaxing quarantine laws.
That means from early next month, all horses can travel quarantine-free between Australia and New Zealand.
Janiak says Takeover Target is also being primed for the TJ Smith Stakes, and further stints in Singapore and England. [display_podcast]
