HITTING THE ROAD FOR TAMWORTH TODDLER

A Tamworth toddler battling a rare genetic disease was offered a helping hand today.
Two year old Amelia-Rose Evans was born with Finlay-Marks Syndrome, causing her to suffer kidney problems and developmental delays.
In her short life she’s already been through five surgeries, with many trips to Newcastle and Sydney for hospital visits.
Today nearly 80 bikers donned their leathers and hit the road to raise close to $4000 for Amelia’s medical expenses.
Organiser Mark Lightfoot said, “when kids are involved, all bets are off. If we can make this family’s life just a little bit easier, in any way possible, we’ll do it.”
