MUSEUM’S SHINING LIGHT

It usually takes a plane ride to get to South Solitary Island’s lighthouse, but now its history is being brought to life on the mainland as part of an exhibition at the Coffs Harbour Regional Museum.

Artifacts, film and photographs are on show as part of the annual “to the light-house” exhibition.

Its centre-piece is a giant lamp, the original four- metre working light from inside the lighthouse.
