Three people have died on the state’s roads over the past 24 hours.
Close to 4000 random breath tests have been conducted in northern New South Wales this weekend.
In Armidale, a 40-year-old man was arrested after allegedly driving down the wrong side of a street.
Police say he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.205 and had an outstanding warrant for assault.
He will appear in Armidale Local Court tomorrow.
