Tamworth golfer, Simon Furneux, has taken out the Jack Newton Celebrity Classic in the Hunter Valley.
Furneaux defeated Sydney’s Ewan Porter on the first play off hole, after carding an equal seven-under-par 69.
The Northwest golfer now has his sights set on securing a lucrative overseas tour card.
