A Queensland-based mining company has unveiled plans for an $80-million project 20 kilometres east of Glen Innes.
Auzex Resources is planning to extract ammonium molybdenum, silica and bismuth at a site near Kingsgate, creating up to 80 jobs.
A feasibility study indicates the mine will generate $445-million in revenue in its first five years.
