Keen to tidy up the game’s image, Group 19 Rugby league club executives are spending the off season working with police on an alcohol strategy.
Designed to reduce anti social and dangerous behaviour at matches, full strength beverage will be replaced with light varieties, with some clubs abolishing the sale of alcohol altogether.
