WEATHER: SOME WEEKEND INLAND RAIN ON THE WAY

While the northern NSW coast and southeast QLD continually see isolated showers roll through, the inland areas west of the divide and the Upper Hunter, remain extremely dry with above-average temperatures and high evaporation rates for late April.
The shower activity will dry out over the next couple of days, as a half decent system closes in to produce some long-awaited rain for the North West and Upper Hunter.
The rain band will have imbedded storms cells and will move in overnight Friday into Saturday, spreading across the North West into Sunday.
