POLICE COMMEND FESTIVAL-GOERS FOR GOOD BEHAVIOUR AT BYRON’S BLUESFEST

Police have commended the behaviour of those at the weekends ‘Bluesfest’ in Byron Bay.

The five-day festival wrapped up last night, with more than 80,000 people attending the popular event.

More than 160 warnings were handed out for cannabis possesion, and 39 court notices for other drug related offences.

Overall, police were pleased with the lack of anti-social behaviour.
