Police are looking for a man who approached a 12-year-old boy at Kotara South yesterday afternoon.
The boy was walking along Inglis Street about 5.15pm when a man pulled up in a black 4WD and offered him a lift.
He declined and ran towards Stuart Street.
Investigators wish to speak to the driver who has been described as a man in his 40s, wearing a grey fishing cap, blue shirt and black jacket.
The black 4WD is described as similar to a Toyota Prado, with scratches and a large sticker on the back.
