Police on the mid north coast have launched a search for a man who held up the Scotts Head Post Office at around 2.30 this afternoon.
Witnesses say the man, who was armed with a sawn-off rifle, was wearing a spiderman mask, balaclava and dark clothing.
The armed robber escaped on foot with a large sum of cash and was last seen running toward Waratah Street.
