Man charged with property-related offences in Tamworth

A 34-year-old man will face court today after multiple alleged break-ins the Tamworth area.
On Tuesday June 18, police attended a home on Kenny Drive, Tamworth where they located and seized, ammunition, gel blasters, methylamphetamine, prohibited knife, CCTV system, counterfeit money, a motorcycle, multiple tools, and other items believed to be stolen goods.
Yesterday, police arrested the man walking on track near Wallamore Road, Tamworth around 3:10pm. They searched the man’s vehicle where they located and seized multiple tools and storage containers.
The vehicle was also seized after checks reveal several parts on the car were allegedly stolen.
The man was charged at Tamworth Police Station where he was refused bail to appear at court, police also executed an outstanding warrant for firearm, counterfeit, and property-related offences relating to the search warrant.
