MARINERS ANCHORED TO BOTTOM OF LADDER AFTER 3-0 LOSS TO ADELAIDE

The Mariners remain at the bottom of the A-League ladder after going down 3-1 to Adelaide last night.
A scrappy opening half saw both sides miss penalty attempts, but the game opened up in the second, with Craig Goodwin finding the back of the net first.
Late goals to Pablo Sanchez and Mate Dugandzic handed Adelaide the three points.
