Central Coast Mariners defender Nigel Boogaard has been suspended for two games by the A-league Match Review panel.
The 22 year-old was handed a red card for serious foul play, in the dying minutes of the Mariners’ draw with Perth on Saturday night.
He’ll miss two home games, this weekend’s clash against Queensland and round 15 of the A-league against Sydney FC.
The two-match suspension is the minimum sanction for the offence.
