CHAFFEY DAM ALMOST 100%

Still on rainfall and Chaffey Dam is now only millimetres away from being full for the first time in six years.

The dam was 99.6 per cent full this morning, with an inflow continuing throughout the day, averaging around 50 megalitres.

Chaffey is now only around 200 megalitres short of overflowing.

If the level continues to steadily rise the dam will be full before the end of the week, marking a vast turnaround from May this year when the water level sat at around 13 per cent of capacity.
