A 23-year-old man is in a serious condition after being stabbed during a beach brawl in Byron Bay.
The wounded man was found by emergency services yesterday afternoon at Sharkies Beach.
It’s believed the man was fighting with another man.
He was taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition after surgery.
A while later police arrested a 30-year-old man at a campsite in nearby bushland.
He was charged with maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm and will face Lismore Local Court later today.
