Local fishing clubs and amateur anglers have removed more than a tonne of carp from North West river systems.
285 people competed in the Manilla Carp Muster this weekend, reeling in 412 catches.
Manilla resident Todd Northy set the record with 33 individual catches, but it was the kids who were reeling in the big fish.
