Tamworth muay-thai fighter Ben Burrage has taken out his first international event.
The 28-year-old defeated Sydney’s Shane Rees to win the prestigious South Pacific title.
Fancy foot work and leg kicks saw the former bull rider win four out of five rounds.
Burrage will now enjoy a short break, with his next fight scheduled for February.
