Despite police fears of mass civil disobedience, just one man was arrested in relation to a climate change protest at Lake Macquarie today.
The 27-year-old Newcastle man will face Toronto Local Court early next year, charged with menacing driving and assault.

What a fantastic protest! Congratulations to these wonderful individuals who are clearly passionate for the future of the planet. If only more people stood up against coal. We simply have to stop burning coal. This clean coal idea is such a furfy. From the footage, the police presence looked over the top. Good to see no violence. Keep up these great protests!!
