The Orphan Angels charity has launched the nation’s first Adoption Awareness Week.
Tamworth’s Roshani (rosh- arni) Priddis has been named the youth ambassador for the week, which aims to kick start debate on bureaucracy surrounding adoption.
Adopted from Sri Lanka at just six weeks old, 21-year old Priddis is hoping to use her role to help fight negative stigmas and misconceptions about adoption.
