Coffs Harbour’s Jetty Beach has been declared the north coast regional winner of the Keep Australia Beautiful Clean Beach Challenge.
The program recognises and rewards coastal communities for initiatives that enhance, protect and preserve the New South Wales coastline.
Jetty Beach was judged the best on the north coast for its range of amenities including its bush regeneration work which has been carried out by volunteers.
Sawtell Beach received a highly commended award for its facilities and cleanliness.
