Sawtell football star Jenna Tristram’s run of bad luck has continued with yet another knee injury which will keep her out of the newly formed W-League until next year.
The Matilda and now Queensland Roar striker tore a ligament in her right knee in April last year.
Surgery and rehabilitation kept her out of competition for nine months.
This time it’s the ligament in her left knee which she tore during a match against Canberra United in Brisbane last weekend.
Jenna will undergo surgery in Adelaide on Monday and is hopeful she’ll be back in around four months, in time to take part in the World Cup qualifiers next October.
