Minister for the Central Coast, John Della Bosca, has launched legal action against a Sydney newspaper over its coverage of the Iguana-gate affair.
Mr Della Bosca claims he was defamed by The Sunday Telegraph when it broke the story of the now famous dinner party at Iguanas waterfront restaurant and bar.
Prosecutors found there was insufficient evidence to support claims that he or his wife, Member for Robertson Belinda Neal, abused staff and then tried to cover it up.
Mr Della Bosca says he will be paying his own legal costs.
