Illegal trail bikers, people dumping rubbish and arsonists watch out – police will be blitzing bushland in the lower Hunter this summer.
This weekend officials came together to comb bush around West Wallsend and the Watagans.
59 infringement notices were handed out to trail bike riders.
Three stolen cars were found, as well as another 18 abandoned vehicles.
A 17-year-old male was arrested in possession of a stolen motorbike.
The operation also located more than 65 major rubbish heaps, including 20 significant asbestos dumps.
