No decision has been made on whether the Armidale Blues will join the Central North Rugby Union competition.
Central North clubs met in Tamworth today to discuss the inclusion of the Armidale city side into the comp.
In an informal vote, the clubs were deadlocked at five-all – with Gunnedah, Scone, Inverell and the two Tamworth sides in support of Armidale’s application.
The club, executive and referees will now vote on the proposal at an extra ordinary meeting next month, with a two thirds majority needed for Armidale to join the competition.
