Moree police officers will meet on Thursday to discuss possible industrial action over staff shortages.
The union says negotiations with the Police Force this week failed to reach a suitable solution.
It follows 18-months of talks over recruiting additional staff for the Barwon station.
Police Association representative, Robert Dunn, says the staffing levels are unacceptable and the Police Force has had more than enough time to address the problem.
